PARKING
AND TRAFFIC REGULATIONS
The
parking and traffic circulation plan for Lerici Township -
From September to June:
-
The restricted traffic rules are in effect in Lerici and San Terenzo
ONLY ON SATURDAYS AND HOLIDAYS, from 8:00am to 7pm;
- During
this time the paid parking spots are effective in place "Vallata"
and "Bagnara", along with a FREE BUS service (Saturdays
from 8am to 7pm; Sundays and Holidays from 11am to 7pm).
- During
WEEKDAYS even the cars without a pass can drive through the restricted
traffic areas and are allowed to park at the VENERE AZZURRA meter
parking (seafront) and at the ERBETTA area in Lerici.
- During
this time the parking at place "Vallata" and "Bagnara"
are free of cost.
- Motorcycle
and bike riders also have free access.
IN
ORDER TO PASS THROUGH AND PARK INSIDE THE RESTRICTED TRAFFIC AREA
(Z.T.L.), YOU NEED A "PASS". IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE TO OBTAIN
A "TEMPORARY PASS" AT THE INFORMATION CENTER AT THE "VALLATA"
METER PARKING AREA.
INFORMATION POINT IS OPENED AT 9.00/13.00 - 15.00/21.00
FOR TOURIST BUSES: ACCESS INTO THE RESIDENTIAL AREAS IS SUBJECT
TO AUTHORIZATION, FOR WHICH YOU MAY CONTACT THE TRAFFIC OFFICE AT
0187/960309 AND FAX 0187/966998.
FOR
THE HOTEL, BED AND BREAKFAST, AND RENTER GUESTS: specific parking
spots at the Venere Azzurra are available and personalized parking
passes are issued by the these same structures. These passes allow
free transit in the entire township and parking in the indicated
areas.
Restricted
Traffic Areas:
From June to September:

Z.T.L. is in effect everyday in San Terenzo and Lerici in the
urban center all day and night; therefore the passage and parking
are only allowed to those vehicles with a PASS. (for more information
on how to obtain a Pass, please consult the "Pass Release"
section.
- If
you do not have a Pass, you may park your vehicle in the meter
parking in place "Vallata" and "Bagnara" (outside
of the urban center of Lerici and San Terenzo).
- The
passage of motorcycles and bicycles is allowed freely; the parking
for them is marked by the parking spaces with the horizontal road
markings.

Cars
Pass:
In order to pass or park within the Z.T.L. area, you must obtain
the appropriate pass.
You may also download all the relevant information from the "Pass
Release" section of the Lerici Township (www.comune.lerici.sp.it)
Or you request information directly from the Traffic Office
(tel. 0187/960309) in the township open everyday from 9am to 12pm.

Information booth for the release of a temporary pass at the meter
parking at place "Vallata" (outside of the Primacina
tunnel), open from 9am to 1pm, then from 3pm to 9pm.
Tourist
Buses
The passage of tourist buses in the urban centers of Lerici and
San Terenzo is subject to the appropriate PASS, for which the following
is necessary:
-
contact the traffic office at 0187/960309 and fax 0187/960217
and 966998,
- deposit
the amount of 20,00 Euro to bank account #45030418, in
the name of "Comune di Lerici - Treasury Office, under the
heading of "authorization for tourist buses".
Fax or deliver the copy of the payment and the bus license plate
to the "traffic office" which will, in turn, release
the authorization.
CAMPER
Regulations
From the month of March 2004 the current traffic regulations for
campers is in effect, part of which is cited below.

ban on parking and traffic for all kinds of campers in the urban
center of Lerici and San Terenzo; all relevant traffic bans will
be notified by all road markings on the main access roads located
at Largo Sardegna for Lerici and place "Bagnara" for
San Terenzo;
- parking
ban with mandatory towing of all campers in the parking
area in Via Biaggini (Lerici) as well as in the parking area on
the other side of the same road.
- Ban
on parking and traffic will be notified by means of the appropriate
road markings by the Police Station personnel.
